1.1. Taxonomie

Franclemont (1951: 64) beschrieb Pseudaletia als neue Gattung mit P. unipuncta als Typusart. Später wurde sie meist als Untergattung von Mythimna geführt. Nedumpally et al. (2025) erhoben sie wieder in den Rang einer Gattung.
