Hacker (2004: 65) beschrieb die Art nach einem einzigen Falter: “Holotype: ♀, Tadjikistan, Pamir, Vantsch-Gebirge, Rushan distr. 60 km n Chorog, Gorno-Badachsan, 3400m, 6.IX.1996 (gen.prep. Hacker 12987♀) (leg. Vladimir Gurko) (coll. A. Bischof, later ZSM)”.
