Hacker (2004: 198) beschrieb die Art nach einem einzigen Falter: “Holotype: ♂, Iran, prov. Esfahan, 1900m, Kühha Qohrud range, 20 km W of Kasan (to Isfahan), 4.-5.IX.2000 (gen.prep. H. Hacker 14427♂) (leg. P. Gyulai & A. Garai, coll. P. Gyulai);”.
