• [Asteraceae:] Packera aurea [= Senecio aureus, "Senicio aureus"] (Goldenes Kreuzkraut)

Busck (1902: 743) schrieb zur Raupe: "Foodplant.— Senicio aureus [sic! recte: Senecio aureus]. The larva is of a dirty yellowish color with head, thorax, and anal plates black; tubercles very small, black, emitting short white hairs. It rolls and later spins together the young leaves of Senicio aureus. It is one of the earliest micros met with in this locality; the young larva can be found in March, and the imago issues late in April and during May. [...] I have bred senicionella in large series".

Busck (1902: 743) fand die Raupen für seine Erstbeschreibung an "Senicio aureus" [recte: Senecio aureus]; den Schreibfehler in der Pflanzengattung übernahm er dann auch auf seinen Falter.
