Hayward (1940: 867): “Holotype male from Runtun, 2800 m. Allotype female from Uyambiche, 2700 m. Paratype males from Runtún and Uyambiche; paratype females from Rio San Pedro, Chillo Valley, 2400 m (Brown). Specimens of this species were sent to the American Museum of Natural History; a paratype has been deposited in the Academy of Sciences of Philadelphia and in the Museo Argentino de Ciencias Naturales in Buenos Aires.”
