Nach [AfroMoths] kommt die Art in Eswatini, Süd-Afrika und Zimbabwe vor.

Locus typicus: Holotype ♂ und Paratypen (12 ♂♂, 15 ♀♀), alle Mpumalanga, Blyde River Nature Reserve, Süd-Afrika, 24.11.–01.12.1975, leg. Potgieter & M. Scoble. Alle Tiere befinden sich im Ditsong National Museum of Natural History (früher Transvaal Museum), Pretoria, Süd-Afrika. (Autor: Harald Lahm)
