Die Art wurde aus Vietnam und Laos beschrieben.
Bąkowski & al. (2021) berichten über den Einzelfund eines Männchens in Polen, das aus einem China-Import von Ficus microcarpa gezüchtet wurde.
Auch in weiteren europäischen Ländern ist mit Verschleppungen dieser Art zu rechnen. Bąkowski & al. (2021: 240) verweisen auf einen ähnlichen aussehenden Falter im Lepiforum: “A photo of a moth similar in appearance reared from F. microcarpa in Berlin (Germany) was shared by Franz A. Ladda on (http://www.lepiforum.de accessed 31.VIII.2020) in 2015 [Anmerkung der Redaktion: Forumsbeitrag von F. Ladda] and identified as Ceratocorema sp. by Daniel Bartsch.”; außerdem auf einen Einzelfund in Frankreich, Paris, gezüchtet aus einem Bonsai-Ficus.
