Nach [Afromoths] kommt die Art in Äthiopien vor.

Locus typicus: Holotype ♂, Provinz Kefa, 11 km NW Jima (Äthiopien), 13. Mai 2008, leg. H. H. Hacker & H. P. Schreier, befindet sich in der Zoologischen Staatssammlung München.
