Nach [Afromoths] kommt die Art in Äthiopien vor.

Locus typicus: Holotype ♂, Abyssinia, Addis Ababa (Äthiopien), 20. Juli 1946, leg. I. Ambjörn, befindet sich Swedish Natural History Museum, Stockholm.
