2.1. Etymologie (Namenserklärung)

Gozmány (1963) macht dazu keine Angaben. Aus dem Zusammenhang (locus typicus: Escorial bei Madrid) ist zu erschließen, dass die Anrede «Don», die in Spanien auch für Angehörige des Königshauses üblich ist, bei der Namensgebung Pate stand.
