Rajaei & al. (2023: 152) äußern sich zu einem angeblichen Vorkommen im Iran: “This species is known from high altitudes in the Tian-Shan and Alai Mts. (Kyrgyztsan and Tajikistan). The report of this species from Iran (without any locality details) by Austaut (1897) is probably erroneous.”
