3.1. Etymologie (Namenserklärung)
Nupponen (2007) erläutert seine Wahl: "Lat. niger = black; dorsum = dorsal area of a wing. The name of the species alludes to a narrow black basal streak at dorsal margin of the forewing."
3.2. Faunistik
Bidzilya et al. (2017) melden die Art erstmals für die Ukraine von 2 Salzsteppen der Halbinsel Krim. Sie war zuvor nur aus Russland (Südural, Astrachan-Region) bekannt.
