Passerin d'Entrèves & Roggero (2011: 204) beschrieben die Art nach einem einzgen Falter: “Holotype. 1 ♂, O-Afghanistan, Pol-i-Charchi, 18 km östl. Kabul, 1700 m a.s.l., 29.vii-10.viii.1966, H.G. Amsel leg. (Genital slide 9497 PdE) [SMNK].”
