Passerin d'Entrèves & Roggero (2011: 206) beschrieben die Art nach einem einzigen Falter: “Holotype. 1 ♂ O. Afghanistan, Kabulschlucht, 22 km östl. Kabul, 1650 m a.s.l., 5–12.vi.1966, H.G. Amsel leg. (Genital slide 9449 PdE) [SMNK].”
