Die Art wurde anhand eines einzelnen Männchens aus Kirgisien beschrieben. Huemer & Karsholt (2010) können über erste Nachweise im Südural und damit in Europa berichten.

Locus typicus nach Povolný (1996: 22): “Kyrgyzstan, 40 km W Lake Issyk Kul, steppe-creek”.
