2.1. Taxonomie und Faunistik

Yakovlev & Witt (2009: 16) kannten ihre neue Art nur durch die 2 Typusexemplare aus Thailand und Myanmar. Sie schreiben zur möglichen Verwandtschaft: "The new species well differs from all the known species of the genus and is most closely related to Roepkiella javana (ROEPKE, 1957), comb. n., described from Java, from which it differs by the absence of a broad dark area in the central part of the forewing and longer gnathos arms."

Yakovlev (2011: 19) lagen noch keine neueren Daten vor.

Yakovlev & Witt (2009: 16) erklären: Holotype, ♂, Thailand, Changwat Nan, 30 km E of Pua, 1700 m, 1.03.1998, HREBLAY & SZABOKY leg. (GPrMWM-11798); Paratype, 1 ♂, Myanmar (Burma), 40 km N Myitkyina, Chano Kand vill., 235 m, 23-24.04.1998, MURZIN & SINYAEV leg. (GPrMWM-11802)."
