Belcastro & Larsen (1996: 620): “Male holotype: Ghana, Ankasa National Park i.1994 (T. B. Larsen leg.) (genitalia AZI, mounted with P. caenira from the same locality for comparison - to be renumbered by the Natural History Museum, London where the type will be placed).” — Paratypen: 2 ♀♀ von der Elfenbeinküste, 7 ♂♂ aus Ghana, 4 ♂♂ aus Nigeria, 2 ♂♂ und 1 ♀ aus Kamerun, 1 ♂ und 1 ♀ aus Uganda.
