Nach [Afromoths] kommt die Art in Kenia vor.

Locus typicus: Holotype ♂ und Paratypen (2 ♂♂), Nyandarua, Aberdare Mts, Gatamayu Forest, 2276 m, 9. November 2007, leg. H. S. Staude (Kenia), befinden sich in der Zoologischen Staatssammlung München.
