Nach [Afromoths] kommt die Art in Äthiopien vor.

Locus typicus: Holotype ♂ und Paratypen (4 ♂♂), Oromia, Bale Mts, Debré Zeit, 1800 m, 15. Mai 1986, leg. F. Thiaucourt (Äthiopien), befinden sich in der Zoologischen Staatssammlung München.
