Nach [Afromoths] kommt die Art in Tansania und Mozambique vor.

Locus typicus: Holotype ♂, Tanga, Usambara Mts, Amani, 900 m, 02.–03. März 2003, leg. H. Hacker, K. Larsen, H.-P. Schreier & M. Fibiger (Tansania), befindet sich in der Zoologischen Staatssammlung München.
