Nach [Afromoths] kommt die Art in Angola, Kamerun, der Republik Kongo, der Demokratischen Republik Kongo, der Elfenbeinküste, Gabun, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Kenia, Liberia, Malawi, Mali, São Tomé und Príncipe, Sierra Leone, Tansania, Uganda und Äthiopien vor.

Locus typicus: Holotype ♂, Bingerville, 11.–15. September 1915, leg. G. Melou (Elfenbeinküste), befindet sich im Natural Histroy Museum London.
