Nach [Afromoths] kommt die Art in Kenia, Äthiopien, Guinea und Nigeria vor.

Locus typicus: Holotype ♂, Allotype ♀ und Paratype ♂, Nakuru, leg. A. L. H. Townsend (Kenia), befinden sich im Natural History Museum London.
