Nach [Afromoths] kommt die Art in Kamerun, der Demokratischen Republik Kongo, Kenia und Tansania vor.

Locus typicus: Holotype ♂, Tanganyika, Lake Manyara, 3000 ft, Juni - August 1937, leg. B. Cooper (Tansania), befindet sich im Natural Histroy Museum London.
