Nach [Afromoths] kommt die Art in Eswatini, Mozambique und Südafrika vor.

Locus typicus: Holotype ♀, Gauteng, Johannesburg, 1902-04-25, leg. A. Ross (Südafrika), befindet sich im Ditsong Museum of Natural History (Transvaal Museum), Pretoria.
