Nach [Afromoths] kommt die Art in Malawi und Tansania vor.

Locus typicus: Holotype ♂, Zomba Plateau, Kuchawe Inn, 1600 m, 30. November 1989, leg. C. Herbulot (Malawi), befindet sich in der Zoologischen Staatssammlung München.
