2.1. Erstbeschreibung

Koçak (1983: 34-35) brachte die kurze Erstbeschreibung in einer Fußnote unter: “Agrodiaetus anticarmon n.sp. (♂): fw. 16 mm. Upperside: Ground colour dark violet-blue as that of thersites. Blackish marginal line very narrow. Cilia whitish at outer part. Underside: Ground colour greyish-brown. Postdiscal black spots small in size on both wings. Discal stria on forewing narrow. Whitish line and blue basal scales on hindwing well developed. This new species may be ceasily distinguished from eurypilos GERHARD by its ground colour of upperside, shape of postdiscal and discal spots of underside of forewing and developed blue basal scales of hindwing. Range: East Turkey. Types: Holotype and Paratypes are in the collection of the author.”
