Laštůvka & Laštůvka (2006) erkannten Ph. dalmatinella (Amsel, 1951) (aus Italien) und Ph. picardi Buvat, 1995 (aus Frankreich) als Synonyme von P. lapadiella.
3.5. Faunistik
Locus typicus: Kroatien, Dubrovnik, Lapad-Halbinsel. Laštůvka & Laštůvka (2006) bearbeiteten außerdem Belege aus Süd-Frankreich, Italien, Montenegro und Griechenland. Laštůvka et al. (2013) nennen noch Nordost-Spanien und Sizilien. Huemer et al. (2025) meldeten die Art nach 2 Männchen erstmals für Zypern: "1 male: Cyprus, Larnaka district, Vavla, 472m, 34.826°N, 33.285°E, 28.v.2017, J. Junnilainen leg. & det. Genitalia in glycerol. 1 male: Cyprus, Paphos district, Neo Chorio, 80m, 35.023°N, 32.390°E, 15-24.v.2017, J. Junnilainen leg. & det. Genitalia in glycerol. "
