Weiss (1990: 330) beschrieb die Art nach einem einzigen ♂: “Holotype ♂: North India, Himalayas, Mt. Nanda Devi, 4200—4500 m., 15. 6. 1978, P. Hapala collected. The type is in the collections of national Museum, Praha.”
