• Monochroa deserta Piskunov, 1990 [Originalkombination und bis Huemer & Karsholt (2020) übliche Kombination]

2.2. Taxonomie

Huemer & Karsholt (2020) nehmen die Neukombination mit Oxypteryx vor, schreiben aber auch, dass noch Fragen offen sind: "Oxypteryx. Eulamprotes Bradley, 1971 with the type species E. atrella is shown to be a synonym of Oxypteryx Rebel, 1911 (Bidzilya et al. 2019), resulting in a number of new nomenclatural changes." Das Taxon deserta wurde allerdings nicht als Art der Gattung Eulamprotes beschrieben, sondern als Monochroa deserta.

2.3. Faunistik

Barton (2018) meldet die Art erstmals für Zypern und damit zugleich neu für Europa i.w.S.: "Monochroa deserta Piskunov. Nikokleia: : 28.ix.2013, specimen IB1111; 11.x.2013, specimen IB1447; 02.x.2014, specimen IB2130 and specimen IB2131; 27.ix.2015, specimen IB2286 (Plate 7); 10.v.2016, specimen IB2432 (det. OK)".
