3.1. Nahrung der Raupe

Noch unbekannt! Kozlov (2026: 179) berichtet: “In the valley of Kiikbaj, about 80 km East of Almaty, moths were caught in open grass and herb land with patches of bushes and small trees while sitting and dancing on Apiaceae inflorescences in the morning sun about 10 a.m. (W. Mey, pers. comm.). In Ile-Alatau National Park, moths were collected before noon at bright sunshine on a very lush North-facing slope with tall, 1–2 m high, very diverse vegetation (dominated by Ligularia macrophylla) growing among sparse Picea schrenkiana woodland (L. Kaila, pers. comm.)”

Sauber (1899: 68) lässt wissen: „Diese Art benenne ich nach Herrn R. Tancré in Anklam.“

4.4. Taxonomie

Nach Kozlov (2026: 179) ist die Verschiedenheit der Arten Nemophora associatella und N. tancrei durch noch unpublizierte DNA-Untersuchungen bestätigt. Küppers (1980) habe letzteres Taxon als allopatrische Unterart N. mutabilella von N. associatella behandelt.
