2.1. Etymologie (Namenserklärung)

Tóth & Ronkay (2015) erklären: "The new species is dedicated to the collector of the type specimen, Mr Béla Hüttler (1937–2002), former taxidermist of the HNHM."

2.2. Faunistik

Die Art ist nur durch den Holotypus aus Sri Lanka bekannt.

2.3. Typenmaterial

Die Art wurde nach einem einzelnen Männchen beschrieben. Tóth & Ronkay (2015) schreiben dazu: "Holotype. ♂, „Ceylon, 1975.X-XI, leg. Hüttler B.”; slide No. TB571m (coll. HNHM)."
