2.1. Etymologie (Namenserklärung)

Tóth & Ronkay (2015) erklären: "The species name was inspired by the bifurcate valva of the male genitalia."

2.2. Faunistik

Die Art wurde aus dem zentralen Bereich Thailands beschrieben mit Paratypen auch aus Indonesien (Sumatra) und Kambodscha.

2.3. Typenmaterial

Tóth & Ronkay (2015) listen: "Holotype. ♂, Thailand: Kanchannaburi by River Kwai Resotel, 19 –22.VII.2003, leg. M. Fibiger; slide No. TB447m (coll. MF, ZMUC)." Die 13 Paratypen stammen aus Thailand, Indonesien (West-Sumatra und Nord-Sumatra) und Kambodscha (Mondolkiri prov.)
