Nach Piskunov (1979: 371) lebt die Raupe in Kasachstan an Centaurea ruthenica. Anikin et al. (2017: 124) führen für den europäischen Teil Russlands "Centaurea cyanus*" an, wobei das "*" für eine eigene Beobachtung steht, also eine Primärmeldung.
