3.1. Etymologie (Namenserklärung)
Kitajima & Sakamaki (2019: 39) erklären wenig überraschend: "The species name is derived from the country name of type locality."
3.2. Taxonomie und Faunistik
Kitajima & Sakamaki (2019: 35-39) beschrieben ihre neue Art in der Familie Oecophoridae. Alle ihre Funde stammten dabei aus: "Japan: Hokkaidô, Honshû, Shikoku and Kyûshû". Und sie können in der Erstbeschreibung berichten: "The new species has been known in Japan for many years （Oku, 2003; Arita & Sakamaki, 2009; Ueda, 2013), but the taxonomic status of this species has remained uncertain."
Wang et al. (2020: 388) listeten die Art - zusammen mit 8 anderen - in ihrer "facialis group" der Gattung, die bei ihnen in die Familie Autostichidae gehört. Zur bisher bekannten Verbreitung schrieben sie: "Distribution. Japan (Kitajima & Sakamaki 2019)".
