2.2. Taxonomie und Faunistik

Wang (2006) führte die Art zunächst in der Gattung Cryptolechia, überführte sie später aber - wie viele andere Arten der Gattung - in Meleonoma. Wang et al. (2020: 382) listeten die Art - zusammen mit Meleonoma malacobyrsa, M. microbyrsa und M. robusta in der "malacobyrsa group" der Gattung. Zur bisher bekannten Verbreitung schrieben sie: "China (Fujian) (Wang 2006a)".
