2.2. Taxonomie und Faunistik

Wang (2006) führte die Art zunächst in der Gattung Cryptolechia, überführte sie später aber - wie viele andere Arten der Gattung - in Meleonoma. Wang et al. (2020: 383) listeten das Taxon - als einzige Art - in ihrer "annulignatha group" der Gattung, die bei ihnen in die Familie Autostichidae gehört. Zur bisher bekannten Verbreitung schrieben sie: "China (Fujian) (Wang 2006a)".
