Die Art wurde aus Armenien (Garni) beschrieben. Yakovlev et al. (2015) stellen fest: "Distribution: Armenia, Russia (Daghestan), Turkey (Yakovlev 2011). Reported for Daghestan as Cossus modestus (Zagulyaev 1978: 184)."
