Nach [Afromoths] kommt die Art in Äthiopien vor.

Locus typicus: Holotype ♂, near Koffolé, 2300 m (Äthiopien), 21. März 1975-03-21, leg. P.-C. Rougeot, befindet sich Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle de Paris.
