• [Fabaceae:] Dorycnium hirsutum [= Bonjeania hirsuta] (Rauhaariger Backenklee, Behaarter Backenklee, Zottiger Backenklee)

Mindestens zwei der Typen wurden aus Dorycnium hirsutum gezüchtet; Gozmány (1957: 126) berichtet dazu: “Food plant : Dorycnium hirsutum (Bonjeania hirsuta), the larvae living in the top leaves of the shoots, webbing them compactly together.”

3.1. Etymologie (Namenserklärung)

Gozmány (1957: 126): “Named to honour Prof. Dr. E. M. Hering, with gratitude for his help and cooperation.”

3.2. Taxonomie und Faunistik

Gozmány (1957: 126) setzt die Art als Typusart der von ihm in derselben Arbeit neu aufgestellten Gattung Iwaruna ein.

Huemer & Karsholt (2020) akzeptieren das aus Kroatien beschriebene Taxon in ihrer Europa-Checkliste, allerdings mit Vorbehalt: “DNA barcodes of I. heringi, a species requiring taxonomic re-assessment, are unknown.”

Gozmány (1957: 126) teilt mit: „Holotype male : “Pola, Istria, Zucht 3. VII. e. l. Bonjeania hirsuta, leg. Krone, gen. prep. : 916” : allotype female : “Pola, Istria, Z. 2. VII. e. l. Bonjeania hirs. leg. Krone” ; 5 male and 3 female paratypes : same locality, from end of June to 5 July, same food plant, leg. Krone ; on some specimens : “biguttella”, det. Krone. Types in the Collection of the Hungarian Natural History Museum ; 1 paratype in the Zoologisches Museum, Berlin.“
