Rajaei et al. (2023: 269) begründen den Ausschluss der Art aus der Fauna von Iran: “Wiltshire (1980) regarded this species as resident in S Iran, without further details. This species, distributed in Israel, the Sinai Peninsula and south to Yemen, is not present in Iran (Hausmann 1992).”

Wiltshire (1949: 411) beschrieb die Art nach einem einzigen Falter: “Holo-Type (♀) (prep. WA. 125), 10.iv.40, Wadi Isla, Karm Alam, 680 m, (A.A ).”
