Grishin (2025: 176): “Holotype: ♂ deposited in the McGuire Center for Lepidoptera and Biodiversity Collection, Gainesville, FL, USA (MGCL), illustrated in Fig. 428–429, bears the following four printed (text in italics handwritten) rectangular labels, three white: [ GUATEMALA: SANTA | ROSA: Guazacapan | ex coll: E. LeMoult | 16.xi.1922 ], [ A. C. Allyn | Acc. 1968–1 ], [ DNA sample ID: | NVG-15043G06 | c/o Nick V. Grishin ], and one red [ HOLOTYPE ♂ | Gorgythion | centralina Grishin ].” — Paratypen: 1 ♀ aus Mexiko, 1 ♂ aus Guatemala und 1 ♂ aus El Salvador.
