PS: Exaeretia stramentella (Eversmann, 1844), comb. nov. = Exaeretia culcitella (Herrich-Schäffer, 1854), syn. nov.

NN: The species was described from an undefined number of specimens collected in June. One specimen was mentioned by Bremer (1870) as Haemylis Culcitella H.S.? This rather well preserved male (but abdomen missing) is found in the collection and here designated as lectotype. It bears the following labes: “Spassk | Junio” and “Stramentella | Evm. | Culcitella | HS” (hand written by Eversmann); “94a”; “Lectotypus male | Yponemeuta Ev. | design. Lvovsky” (red).

Wir folgen den detaillierten Datierungs-Angaben von Heppner (1982). Obwohl die Tafel 60 bereits 1851 erschienen ist, darf sie nach den Bestimmungen des ICZN nicht als Erstbeschreibung gelten, denn die Nomenklatur auf dieser Tafel ist nicht binominal.
