2.1. Etymologie (Namenserklärung)
Fibiger et al. (2006: 387) erläuterten: "This is [sic!] species is named after Ulrik Fibiger, the eldest son of the first author."
2.2. Faunistik
Fibiger et al. (2006: 389) berichteten: "Type Locality: Israel, Sea of Galilee area, Kibbutz Degania. General distribution pattern: Indigenous to the Levant, so far only recorded from Israel. Distribution and Occurrence in Israel: Found in the temperate region in the northern Rift Valley and along the Coastal Plain. This species was not seen since the 1950’s."
