3.1. Etymologie (Namenserklärung)

Bidzilya & Rajaei (2026: 12) diagnostizieren: "This species is externally characterized by pale forewings sparsely mottled with light brown, a yellow-suffused fold, very small and indistinct brown points in the cell, and a small wingspan (10.0 mm). Ephysteris permanus sp. nov. appears very similar to the new species, but differs in having a slightly darker ground colour and narrower forewings. Ephysteris iberica is very similar to the new species, but can be separated by presence of distinct brown spots in fold and in the middle of the cell (absent in E. crypticus sp. nov.)."
