4.2. Taxonomie

Kaila (2019: 101) bezweifelt die Konspezifität von Elachista oppositella Heinemann, 1877 mit E. humilis: “Wocke (1876: 492) compares E. oppositella to E. perplexella (synonym of E. humilis Zeller) in the original description. However, the original characterization with yellowish shine on forewing, yellowish discal and plical spot, and glossy head does not fit E. humilis. [...] The host plant is also not known to be used by the Poaceae-feeding E. humilis.”
