Eilema interpositella Strand, 1922 halte ich für einen unnötigen Ersatznamen, denn Ilema interposita Rothschild, 1914 und Ilema interposita Hampson, 1914 sind nicht homonym, sondern konspezifisch.
Das Titelblatt von Heft 4 der Novitates Zoologicae 21 in der Bibliothek des BMNH trägt den Eingangsstempel “20.OCT.1914”; der Tag ist handschriftlich zu “21” korrigiert [Digitalisat auf biodiversitylibrary.org]. Das Vorwort zum Supplement 1 des Catalogue of the Lepidoptera Phalaenae in the British Museum ist auf den 10. November 1914 datiert [Digitalisat auf biodiversitylibrary.org]. Wenn man Eilema interpositella Strand, 1922 nicht als nomen protectum betrachtet, hat Ilema interposita Rothschild, 1914 Priorität.
