• Chorocosma melanorma Meyrick, 1893 [Originalkombination]

2.2. Taxonomie und Faunistik

Direkt hinter Dryadaula mit der Typusart Dryadaula glycinopa beschrieb Meyrick (1893: 560) eine weitere neue Gattung "Chorocosma" mit der direkt anschließend beschriebenen Typusart Chorocosma melanorma aus Sidney in Australien. Er stellte zu seiner neuen Gattung fest: "The genus is more nearly allied to Dryadaula than to any other ; I have only the one species." In der Welt-Checkliste der Gattung Dryadaula von Yang & Li (2021) ist die nach einem Einzelexemplar beschriebene Art dann auch mit Dryadaula kombiniert: Dryadaula melanorma.

2.3. Typenmaterial

Yang & Li (2021) schreiben zum Ort des Typenmaterials: "NHM (HT)" - da die Art nach einem Einzelexemplar beschrieben wurde, ist das automatisch der Holotypus.
