2.1. Taxonomie und Faunistik

Meyrick (1915: 369) beschrieb Dryadaula anthracorma nach zwei Exemplaren aus dem Südosten Australiens: "Victoria, Macedon and Emerald, in October and December (Lyell) ; two specimens." Anders als bei vielen anderen Arten der Gattung aus der Region gibt es hier auch aktuelle Funde und Fotos, insbesondere im [Atlas of Living Australia].

Nach Yang & Li (2021) befindet sich der Lectotypus und der Paralectotypus im BMNH.
