1. Taxonomie

D. despoliatella ist nach Lvovsky 2004 ein Synonym von Depressaria ruticola Christoph, 1873. In etlichen großen Sammlungen (so u.a. NHM London, ZMUC Kopenhagen) fand bzw. findet man unter diesem Namen Tiere, die jetzt als Depressaria falkovitshi gültig sind.
