Nach [Afromoths] kommt die Art in Botswana, der Demokratischen Republik Kongo, Malawi, Mozambique, Tansania, Zambia und Zimbabwe vor.

Locus typicus: Holotype ♂, Zambia, NE Rhodesia, leg. Trenoweth, befindet sich im Ditsong Museum of Natural History (Transvaal Museum) (Südafrika).
